On May 24th 2013, B-Fast had a stand at the ATCC open day (Air Traffic Control Center) in Semmerzake (Oost-Vlaanderen). The ATCC is responsible for the military air traffic control and it coordinates the military and civil aviation. In Belgium there are twelve such air traffic control centres (e.g. in Glons).

A B-FAST team was happy to answer the numerous questions about its responsibilities, the equipment and the material it uses. The communication and information equipment made available by Defence within B-FAST, received extra attention this year. Visitors also asked many questions about food rations and their contents.

It was the first time the B-FAST stand was present at an event since the creation of the Public Relations module. Especially the new beach flags are real eye catchers.
