TRIPLEX 2016 : international exercise in the coordination of emergency relief

TRIPLEX is a tri-annual and international exercise in emergency relief. This time organized in Norway (24-30/09/2016) under the joint coordination of the United Nations and the European Union. More than 70 countries and 500 experts participate in this event. Belgium is sending a multi-departmental B-FAST Team comprising of 32 members (27 Home Affairs, 3 Public Health and 2 Defence) and different operational capacities: a High Capacity Pumping Module, a Flood Rescue Using Boats (FRUB) and a medical skeleton team. Team Leader is Johan BOYDENS, Civil Protection and chief of unit in Jabbeke (Belgium).
